Schedule: 9:15am Registration begins (no advance registration—just show up!) 9:30am Timpani FUNdamentals with Joanna D. Huling (for beginning & intermediate students) 10:00am Snare Drum FUNdamentals with Marshall Maley (for beginning & intermediate students) 10:30am Performance Spotlight featuring the percussion ensembles of Dunloggin Middle School, University of MD- College Park, Towson University, and the Towson University World Percussion Ensemble 12:00pm Exhibit Hall/Networking; Lunch (cash only) served in Alice’s Restaurant in the Atheneum Building on campus 12:30pm Mason-Dixon Drumline outside Alice’s Restaurant- in honor of Lincoln’s Birthday 1:00pm Drumset FUNdamentals with Nucleo Vega “Truly Melodic Drumming for Drumset” 1:30pm Mallet FUNdamentals: “Building Keyboard Confidence” with Dr. Michelle Humphreys 2:00pm Rich O’Meara “Works for Marimba and Creative Practice Tips” featuring the Towson Percussion Group with Mark Craig, Dr. Michelle Humphreys, and Dr. Patrick Roulet 2:45pm Scott Davidson World Percussion Clinic “Practical Applications of North and South Indian Techniques for Percussion” 3:30pm Drumset Feature with Chris Pennie: Chris’s performing credits include Dillinger Escape Plan, Coheed & Cambria, and Return To Earth.
